For most packages, such as a full dinner or an organised tasting, we work with a minimum group size of 15 guests. Got a smaller group? No problem, you are always welcome for a spontaneous drinks or dinner in our regular bar and restaurant.
Yes. We offer the option to close our venues exclusively for private parties, corporate events and weddings. Due to the size of our locations, exclusive hire works on a minimum spend or a fixed room hire fee. This makes exclusivity most practical for larger groups. Smaller parties can still have a dedicated area or table section.
Absolutely. An outing with a group at Kompaan is about more than sitting at the bar. We work with local Hague partners for activities such as paddleboarding through the Binckhorst, a VR gaming experience or a professional pub quiz on location.
During the tasting we serve a selection of Kompaan beers in tasting glasses. Our expert guides you through the brewing process, the different beer styles and the stories behind our names. It is an interactive session of roughly 45 to 60 minutes.
Absolutely. We offer a full vegetarian and vegan menu at all our dinners and barbecue buffets as standard. For specific allergies, please let us know at least a week in advance so our chef can prepare a suitable and safe alternative.
For groups of 15 or more we work with set menus, such as our Burger Menu or the Big Green Egg barbecue buffet to guarantee quality and speed of service. We are happy to adapt within these options based on your preferences.
For exclusive venue hire, you can bring your own DJ or use our in-house DJ services. For smaller groups in the shared space, we take care of the music, always matching the energetic and relaxed Kompaan vibe.
For groups and company outings, we recommend booking as early as possible. Popular evenings like Thursday and Friday fill up fast. Booking ahead also gives us more room to create a tailored experience for you.

Both Kompaan locations in The Hague are easily accessible by public transport and by car. Parking is available nearby and the city centre is easy to reach for visitors coming from outside The Hague.

The venue is also fantastic. The bar also hosts great parties and dinners for groups. They regularly checked in to see if we wanted anything else poured, and we didnāt have to wait long for the food either.
We had such a great time on Saturday! Everyone was really happy with the dishes that were served: the bitterballen were excellent, the burgers and spare ribs were delicious, and the beeramisu was a big hit! And of course the craft beersāeveryone absolutely loved them.
