Battle Royale – Single Hop Bomba Crop I

“Single Hop Bomba Crop Mosaic” is a vibrant tribute to Mosaic, one of the most versatile and sought-after hops in modern brewing. The story of this beer starts in Yakima Valley, USA, where we traveled to Yakima Chief for hop selection. After hours of sniffing and sampling hops from different farmers (yes, it really is as glamorous as it sounds), we carefully chose Mosaic for its tropical and berry profile. But the highlight of the trip came at Seattle airport. When a border security officer asked about the purpose of our visit, we explained we were there because Northwestern hops are the bomb. With a grin, he replied, “So y’all here for the bomba crop.” And just like that, the name was born! This single-hop IPA celebrates Mosaic’s brilliance with notes of mango, papaya, and a hint of berries, perfectly balanced by the Maris Otter malt base.
