Mirror Image is all about one of the biggest names in modern hops.
This SMASH IPA strips everything back and lets Citra take over completely. One malt. One hop. Nothing to hide behind. Just pure expression.
From the first sip, Citra comes through loud and clear. Bright lime zest, grapefruit peel and juicy orange hit first, followed by tropical notes of passionfruit and ripe mango. There’s a subtle floral lift underneath, balanced by a clean bitterness that keeps the beer sharp and refreshing.
The Maris Otter base stays deliberately simple. Light biscuit, clean body, dry finish. Everything exists to give Citra the spotlight.
This is the second half of the SMASH experiment. Same framework. Different personality.
What to Expect
Appearance: Bright golden with a light haze and firm white head
Aroma: Lime zest, grapefruit, orange peel, tropical fruit and floral citrus
