As the days grow shorter and the fires burn longer, some flavours simply belong to the season.
Tonka Bok is our autumn ritual in a glass. A rich, warming bock infused with Tonka bean — the wrinkled seed of a South American tree, prized for its deep aroma of vanilla, almond, caramel and warm spice. Long surrounded by folklore and believed to carry a touch of magic, it feels right at home when the harvest is gathered and the nights grow dark.
The result is smooth beyond expectation. Layers of toasted malt, caramel and bread crust melt into soft vanilla, marzipan and gentle spice, finishing warm, rich and inviting. The kind of beer best enjoyed around a crackling fire, while old stories grow taller with every pour.
What to Expect
Appearance: Deep chestnut brown with ruby highlights and a creamy beige head.
Aroma: Fresh bread crust, caramel, vanilla, almond and subtle spice.
Flavor & Mouthfeel: Rich caramel malts, toasted bread, marzipan, vanilla and warming spice. Full-bodied, velvety smooth and remarkably drinkable.

KOMPAAN brewery design started in 2015. The realization and commissioning of the brewery took place in 2016. The brewery consists of 4x 35hl vessels: mash tun, lauter tun, boiling kettle and a whirlpool.
