Every Thursday evening from 8:30 PM, Kompaan Binnenhaven turns into a buzzing quiz arena. Our weekly pub quiz, hosted by Mr. Bright’s Quiz Night, is full of energy, humor, and challenging rounds, and is ideal for small groups of friends and colleagues. Expect a mix of music, general knowledge, current events, and surprising questions, of course with a healthy dose of competition. This quiz night is often combined with a business drink or dinner, making it the perfect end to the day. Participation is possible in teams of 5 or 6 people. With a larger group, you can of course reserve multiple tables, but keep in mind: it’s first come, first served.

Looking for a more personal and exclusive experience? Then choose a private pub quiz, fully organized by Mr. Bright’s Quiz Night. From 50 people, they organize a customized quiz at Kompaan Thuishaven or Binnenhaven. Think of a professional quizmaster, interactive rounds, and possibly even your own questions added especially for your group. Please note: a private pub quiz is only possible in combination with exclusive rental of the venue.

Have you always wanted to make graffiti or street art yourself? With the workshop from We Are Cats, you dive into the world of stencils, spray cans, and creative expression. Together with professional graffiti artists, you get to work, from coming up with a design to spraying a colorful background and applying your own stencil. With paint markers and extra details, you give your work the perfect finishing touch. Whether you choose an A3 canvas, larger cardboard, or a professional canvas, it’s all about your creativity! Afterward, you of course take your own artwork home or to the office. We Are Cats uses reusable materials as much as possible and works with water-based markers and spray cans that are friendly to people and the environment.

This workshop is not only a lot of fun, but also perfect for team building. Work together with colleagues on ideas and themes and translate them into unique artworks. Afterward, everyone presents their creation, guaranteed to be an inspiring experience.

The workshops take place at We Are Cats’ workshop space, a 15-minute walk from Kompaan Thuishaven. In good weather, it is possible to move the workshop to the quay by the Thuishaven.

Valentine’s Distillery is a small-scale family distillery and a place where expertise, craftsmanship, and taste come together in the most refined products. Because they handle the entire production process themselves, they make all their spirits and liqueurs on a small scale and with great care. Valentine’s Distillery works together with local entrepreneurs wherever possible and reuses ingredients with care for nature. Since 2026, we have also been serving delicious beer cocktails (“beertails”) at Kompaan, a beautiful fusion between our specialty beers and Valentine’s fine products. In addition, Valentine’s Distillery also provides inspiring workshops at Kompaan, where you learn about the distillation process and get to work creating your own unique flavors and cocktails.
