Forged under the name Foreign Legion, this line of bold barrel-aged beers has made its mark across the globe — winning medals and awards at prestigious competitions like the Dutch Beer Challenge and Brussels Beer Awards. Built on craftsmanship and character, the Legion has become a banner for our most elaborate creations.
This time, every beer is inspired by a real face from our brewery. From back office to bar, brewer to quality control — these are their beers, their alter egos, their barrels.

The Lord of the Rinse doesn’t just brew — he purifies. If it’s dirty, it’s already being cleaned. Ruling the CIP kingdom with a hose and a mission, his stout is impeccably brewed and aged on Anker whisky. Big, clean, and powerful, with notes of toffee, oak, and a sharp bite. Every tank sparkles under his watch, and so does this beer. Clean isn’t boring — it’s flawless.

The design of the KOMPAAN brewery began in 2015. The construction and commissioning of the brewery took place in 2016. The brewery consists of four 35hl vessels: a mash tun, lauter tun, brew kettle, and a whirlpool.
