Black Hops is a covert strike of bitter roast and vibrant hops—unfolding in layers of pine, citrus, and berry. Behind its dark disguise hides a hop-loaded IPA bursting with Mosaic, Simcoe, and the experimental HBC630. These three combine for waves of blueberry, grapefruit, tropical fruit, and soft berry candy notes.
The malt base brings smooth bitterness, a touch of chocolate, and just enough roasted edge to keep things shadowy—but never heavy. It’s bold, clean, and dangerously precise.
This isn’t just a Black IPA. This is a black-ops mission in a can.
What to Expect
Appearance: Jet black with a mocha head and a ruby edge when held to light
Aroma: Blueberry, pine resin, grapefruit zest, subtle roast and berry candy
Flavor: Crisp and dry with notes of citrus peel, forest floor, and soft chocolate
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body, clean and snappy with lingering bitterness
