Did you know that there are only three sock factories in the Netherlands, and one of them is located in The Hague? Just like our beers, they produce hyper-locally. Unused materials and leftover socks are recycled into a large batch of cotton and polyester. This material is then bleached in an environmentally friendly way—yes, that happens right here in the Netherlands! Afterward, it’s transformed into new stocks of cotton and polyester, allowing for the creation of fresh new socks.
Brouwerij
Het ontwerp van de KOMPAAN brouwerij begon in 2015. De realisatie en ingebruikname van de brouwerij vond plaats in 2016. De brouwerij bestaat uit 4x 35hl vaten: een maischketel, filterkuip, kookketel en een whirlpool.
